Chamber Music Festival

It has now become a tradition for the renowned Croatian clarinetist, Marija Pavlovic, to bring together top international names in classical music in the unique setting of the Rector’s Palace in Dubrovnik. Together, along with the accompaniment and collaboration of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra, they aim to create musical magic. Dubrovnik is a city of culture and in this way we wish to promote it to the world.

The idea behind this chamber music festival is to bring to Dubrovnik world-class musicians to perform in chamber music concerts and as soloists as well. Members of the Orchestra will also have the opportunity to play chamber music with the guest artists.

Some of the musicians who have appeared in this festival are: violinists Gordan Nikolić, Daniel Rowland and Vineta Sareika; cellist Monika Leskovar, Maja Bogdanović and Celine Flamen; pianist Martina Filjak; mezzo-sopraan Renata Pokupić; oboist Tow Owen; hornists Radovan Vlatkovic and Bostjan Lipovsek; bassoonist Pieter Nuytten; contrabassist  Zoran Marković; maestro Daniel Ang and maestro Marc Tardue - Principal Conductor of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra.
